[Dolphin] Breadcrumb Subfolders

Fri Mar 20, 2009 6:44 pm
This is an idea for Dolphin, specifically for the "breadcrumb"-style address bar.

Image

If you look at the right end of the address bar, you will see is a final arrow that is not present in the current Dolphin address bar. Clicking this button shows all of the subfolders of the current folder (if there are any, if there aren't the arrow doesn't appear), allowing you to go right to them. This is useful since it allows you to go to a folder even if it is not visible in the file browser right now (either because it is filtered or because it is above or below where you have scrolled to). It becomes even more useful with my "tree" breadcrumbs idea.

This is part of my series of Dolphin ideas

Peter Penz said that he doesn't like this idea and won't allow it.
