Is there anyway in Vector editing in Krita to incorporate Wood or metal textures, along with gradients/shadings?

Please see,

for reference.

It's difficult to incorporate such texture and shading gradient effects on Bitmap layers.I want to use textures for Vehicle interior designing mainly.

If such texture effects are not supported by Krita as of now,I would definately suggest this feature in Krita so that we car designers can save money which is needed to buy so expensive softwares like Adobe Illustrator.

Hello,
I saw some textures in the Krita's inbuilt Library.I tried to use them, but couldn't figure out how to use them.
I think Krita 2.5.9 may already have a provision for my Requirnment mentioned under this thread.
But perhaps not many members have used this, nor something about this seems to be mentioned in Tutorials available.

Could anyone know how to use this???
Can I have a tutorial regarding how to use Textures and Shadings in Vector Layers?

Hi friends,
Valerievk suggested a tutorial in her webpage to solve my this query about textures in vector layers, but,my old PC is stucking badly and not allowing to use textures on vector layers.(Nevertheless,I am getting a new tablet with high processing speed,so no worries.).Also I am confusing in the tutorial.
But I will once again try when I receive my new tablet with high processing speed.

(The dealer has suggested that I will recieve delivery of my tablet PC on 30th January.I can cancel my order if I don't recieve on time and will order ModBook Pro from ModBook Inc.I already have paid 50 % advance but would demand return if not delivered on time.)

However today I saw this:

This is very exciting development indeed.
I have to tell that this may be a great alternative if I can use this brush in Big size on a selected area by use of lasso tool or other selection tool. :)

I would also like to request a wooden texture brush in the texture Brush Library if its not there, since that's a trend in interior designs in vehicles.

Once I select an area on a new layer,I can use texture brush.

Once I use a texture Brush,I can then make another layer, another same area selection and use Light Airbrushing.
