Lady in a Yukata

Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:26 am
Hi, I've been trying out Krita on my openSUSE system since last summer.
This is done on Krita 2.5.3 and a little bit of Gimp for the post-process. I love how active the development of Krita is!

It most certainly is! :) It would be quite interesting, also, to hear what post-processing you did in the GIMP. Of course, if one can avoid having to switch to another application when doing the artwork, that would be great, so if we can somehow clip out that particular break in your work flow... Look forward to hearing about that :D

And just to reiterate: That is a very pretty piece! :)

Thanks very much for your comments guys!

leinir: In the Gimp, I adjusted the colors and overlaid the noise texture. The reason for me to use the Gimp for color adjustment is that it's able to adjust each of RGB channel at the same time with one input on 'value' channel curve.
