For anyone with KDE 4.3 not binding to Printscreen key ....

Post Mon Aug 10, 2009 3:20 am

I made this little tutorial of how to bind it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWaZrfJ-dVw

I looked all over for a guide to make it work, and none offered any real solutions and were all totally out of date.

Anyway enjoy :P

Thanks so much for doing this. Documentation on this is so important. Trying to get it from multiple sources is difficult at best. This should be included in the Kubuntu/KDE docs.

Thanx again!!!! :D

I'm going to link to this video from UserBase. Do you know how long youtube videos stay available? Is it configurable, is there a fixed time or is it until you remove it?

The video is permanent unless I remove it. The only way YouTube removes a video is if it contains unsuitable material (porn etc..), or copyrighted material that the owner requests to be removed. That video has none of those :)

It has been added to UserBase (http://userbase.kde.org/General_KDE_Pro ... _KSnapshot). Please, if you decide to remove it at any time, either tell me (annew at kde dot org) or leave a note on the UserBase discussion page. Thanks

This video has been removed by the user. :(

I believe all and any material should be re-uploaded (or at least mirrored) by KDE staff.

I will ask RaiCoss if he can let us have a copy of the video, to host ourselves.
