nepomuk does not remember custom folders (KDE 4.10 RC3)

After updating to KDE 4.10 RC3 (Kubuntu 12.10), nepomuk no longer remembers the custom folders I've chosen to be indexed. Currently no folders are selected (which was what I had before updating), and I can't get it to remember selecting any of them. It allows me to select folder and apply changes, but nothing happens. Logging out and back in forgets all changes.

Is there a file where I can manually enter folders to be indexed? Unless it rewrites this file every time I log out/in, editing this file should result in permanent change.

Hi

If it is not too much trouble could you please open a bug report on http://bugs.kde.org/ under nepomuk? The moment a bug is filed I get informed about it and I generally reply within 24 hours. If Nepomuk doesn't seem to remember the custom folders, it's clearly a bug. Worst case scenario, it is not a bug and I'll just point you to the appropriate userbase page, or create one specifically for you. Both ways, you win! :)

Please file the bug and attach the contents of your nepomukstrigirc file (generally present in ~/.kde/share/config/nepomukstrigirc) both before and after you change the list of custom folders.

Thanks for the reply. After wiping out the nepomuk folder, everything appears to be working again. I had to reindex everything, but at least it saved my custom folders and correctly indexed everything. I wonder if having email indexing enabled caused any issues (I read somewhere it's not properly working in 4.10 RC3).
