Confirmed - it looks like this might be fixed possibly in the future with Plasma NM. Until then however, you can use "route -n" or "ip route" to get the system routing table, from which you can determine the default gateway.
Code: Select all
default via 10.0.0.1 dev wlan0

Indicates that the "default gateway" for device "wlan0" is "10.0.0.1" for instance.

Do you know any GUI alternative(s) instead of CLI?

Plasma NM is under development at this time, with no release plan at this stage. It is not suitable for use by users yet.

I'm not aware of any GUI unfortunately - but one could probably create a script which uses kdialog to pop it up to the screen if needed for the user to see.

This is really upsetting my friend (Window user) trying to migrate to Linux/KDE he asked me about this option and I shocked when I couldn't find it although I'm using Linux since many years ago :'(

Thanks a lot, do you know which KDE version will add your commit?

As Network Management is not included in KDE itself, you'll probably see this in the next release of Network Management.
