I had this same problem with rekonq. I have just completed the upgrade to KDE 4.10 and zoom now seems to work correctly in rekonq 2.1. Possible the actual bug was in the KDE libraries somewhere?

That's interesting!

I just updated to KDE 4.10 in Kubuntu 12.10 and for me it's still the same ...

Could you post your exact Rekonq and Webkit versions?
(Mine are rekonq 2.1 and libqtwebkit4 2.2.1)

thx, piedro

Same setup, the packages I have installed are rekonq 2.1-0ubuntu1~ubuntu12.10~ppa1 and libqtwebkit4 2.2.1-4ubuntu1.

A possible difference is that I have installed the kpartsplugin to load browser plugins, and don't have mozplugger installed.

Another slight piece of weirdness I found when I was looking at this back when KDE 4.9 was still installed: if I looked at a Youtube video in Konqueror and then loaded a Youtube video using rekonq immediately after, then the Youtube video would be resizable properly in rekonq.

So is the bug in the browser, the plugin handler, the rendering engine or in flash itself? It's hard to know exactly where the bug lies for this one, which is probably why it's proving so challenging to fix.
