webdev 4 - what and where is it?
I have 'webdev4' installed on openSuSE 11.1, but can not find it.
any ideas?
hope it's not konqueror 4.
i am a huge fan of Quanta Plus and am still using it, so no rush, but it seems i will have to get used to something else soon.
Thankyou in advance,
Спасибо.

According to http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdewebdev/
KDEWebDev contains the following: Quanta, Kommander, KXSLDbg, KLinkStatus, KImageMapEditor & KFileReplace

Re: webdev 4 - what and where is it?
The package will not contain Quanta, as this is not yet ready for KDE4. If you can, stick to the KDE3 version of this package.
Re: webdev 4 - what and where is it?
i can stick with 3, i like it just fine, but i want to see and feel webdev 4, but can't find it anywhere on my system as i don't know what is in it.
YasT shows it installed but the packages are not listed in summary or details and i can't find it in launch / apps.
just wondering.

Search for the package in YaST, and switch to the "File List" tab. What is listed there?

like i said, it's installed:
but... looking at this, it looks like it's Nothing but documents? what?
YaST
kdewebdev4-4.1.3-2.21 - kdewebdev base package
/usr/share/doc/packages/kdewebdev4
/usr/share/doc/packages/kdewebdev4/AUTHORS
/usr/share/doc/packages/kdewebdev4/COPYING
/usr/share/doc/packages/kdewebdev4/COPYING.DOC
/usr/share/doc/packages/kdewebdev4/README
if you or Anyone is 'using' webdev4 to author web content, Please tell me what it is that you are using! it has to have a name and i'm guessing it should be in the 'Launcher', Да?

WebDev4 looks like a shell package at this time, created automatically, and likely awaiting the day it comes back to life once more.

thank you, even if you are making an assumption, it's seems a safe one and will do for me, for now.
