Kexi like many other Qt/KDE applications is known for its good portability. Within the Google Code-In program we asked students to find issues that could be fixed in Kexi while running in non-KDE environments. These environments actually lack dedicated Free database app creator tools in the form of Kexi that have strong vision and are actively developed.
One of the students has uploaded his findings for GNOME:
http://www.google-melange.com/gci/task/ ... 12/7957214 (Please see the Kexi.odt file).
We'll obviously fix the issues and are committed to further work on this area. Feel free to submit your notes
