Hi everyone,

Just downloaded myself this latest build.

First off, *REALLY* great experience indeed! ;)
You developers did a magnificent job so far...

As regards my today's testings, it really looks like the 32 bit version is much more likely to crash compared to the 64 bit one.
I suppose the bottleneck here is maybe (?) the RAM since on a 32 bit system you can not use more than around 4 Gb...

More precisely, today I have tried all day long the 32 bit newest build on:
Windows 7 professional - 32 bit
Cpu Intel i5, Gpu Ati radeon, 4 Gb ram
OpenGL disabled

With more filters (e.g. Adjust > Brightness/Contrast curve) it was pretty easy to crash Krita by simply trying *over and over* the same filter until Krita 32 bit crashed...
These crashes concerning the filters occurred quite on random even by trying later the same previous steps (this is why I suspect they were perhaps due to the RAM...).

On the contrary, with the Krita - 64 bit version (Windows 7 - Home edition)
Cpu Intel i7, Gpu Nvidia Geforce, 8 Gb ram (OpenGL disabled)
These *same* filters work great: NO crash so far even by trying more and more the same steps until you are bored to death... :-)

BTW, brilliant choice for the new splash image as well ^-^

We fixed the root cause of all crashes caused by doing too much stuff in a session today: I figured out that the swapper was broken, and Dmitry fixed it! New builds will follow tomorrow.

I am using a Samsung Series 7 Slate (similar to a Surface Pro). It uses a Intel HD graphics 3000 card - nothing fancy

I think I mentioned this in other post, but I get the stylus right-click-button problem too. Although it also happens in Mypaint and I think it's due to the stylus not being great hardware to begin with.
Though what if Krita could detect instantaneous repetitive right-clicking as a "tablet quirk" at worst, and try to work around it, i.e. waiting a fraction of a second before deciding the user is actually double-right-clicking. What do you think?

Great news, I'm really looking forward to the new builds. :)

Just gave a quick look in the newer version.

The right click bug is gone(the one where you clicked on canvas and it registered a middle click, with the stylus at least).

But, i ve reported before and it seems to be a problem i only face, i have problems with canvas only mode while opengl is enabled. The screen freezes, it continues to register strokes but the screen is frozen. What can i do to report, what logs do you need, or maybe it's another setting that has to do with my graphics card?
Intel HD4000 and win 8 64 bit just in case anyone has any ideas.

And one more thing i'd like to know, is gmic support for windows planned for this build or is it something you gonna fix after 2.8?

Thanks a lot for your work, and may the bug hunt continue!

It is gone but you cant really use right click menu (unless you mess with a stylus setup again).

btw, this is long "tomorrow" ;) I dont mean to rush you guys but when you say that sort of things I am checking like a maniac for a new build ;)

Sorry, I fell ill last weekend and couldn't do much. And then I discovered that there's still another bug left in the x86 builds and went to bed... This week I'm in Germany, so I probably won't be able to do a build until Saturday.
