Internet connection (DSL)

How can kubuntu 8.10 connect to the Internet using DSL (user-name and password are needed!)?
-It seems that the kNetwork manager does not have that connection option. I have access to DSL connection but can not get connected to the internet on kubuntu 8.10. (I think that kubuntu 8.04 has DSL connection support)-
