K-Menu editor for desktop K-menu

Sun Nov 24, 2013 10:44 pm
In the desktop settings, I have set a mouse action that causes the K-Menu to show up when I left-click the desktop.

Is there a way to edit the K-Menu that I open that way? In particular I would like to add descriptions to its items, which I can easily do for the K-Menu in the panel, but I didn't find a way to do so for this one.

Thanks for all replies!

I am assuming the "kmenuedit" program is what you need to modify the K-Menu. However I'm believing it will modifiy your menu "globally" (all your user menus) rather than a specific menu.

That program allows me to add/remove stuff from the menu, but it doesn't allow me to change the settings of the menu to show descriptions beside the program names. Basically what I want is the dialog that shows up when right-clicking the K-Menu in the panel and selecting "K-Menu Settings". Is there such a dialog for the K-Menu that I can open through a desktop mouse action?

If such options were available, they would be available through the "Mouse Actions" tab of "Desktop Settings", where this behaviour was initially setup.
Unfortunately such options do not appear to be offered.

Ok, thank you, I already thought so. I will file a bug report.
