This is mine.

- KDE 4.1 backports on Debian Lenny/Sid;
- My own wallpaper (I run Debian on a MacBook Pro and had a slightly different version of this wallpaper back in the days I was running Mac OS X, but I still like my Sad Mac);
- The Plasma theme is "Slim Glow", though "Naked" is quite nice as well.

Desktop1, for a maximized dolphin window, Imo this is the only right way to setup dolphin :P I find file management being so easy I've quit using the desktop all together, I just have some bandwidth/weather/cpuLoad widgets that I access with Meta+tab (dashboard) And /Desktop has taken place as download folder for Firefox :)

Also Krunner has replaced the need for any application launch icons, heck I barely use the Kmenu anymore.

Desktop2, for web browsing, irc, etc

I switch desktop by having the pager down in the left corner so I simply point at it and scroll and bang I'm on desktop 2 :) very swift!

Here is mine:

Image

It is from my trunk testbed.
Wallpaper is the newly added AIR wallpaper, thanks to Wade Olson.
Though the snow comes from the nice KWin effect.

Merry Xmas!

Update on the wallpaper on bcooksleys and mine screenshot:

This wallpaper is NOT from Wade Olson, it is from Nuno Pinheiro. Though Wade Olson does stunning work, too ;)

It comes with KDE 4.2. If you go digging in websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdebase you should find it.

I hate the systray. It takes away the beauty of KDE :-(

OK more screenshots from me:
This one was done some time ago when I tried to see how close to Gnome I can make my KDE (just for fun)
so this is the result:

kubuntu 8.10, KDE4.2beta
Images are from my random rotating wallpaper setup. The blue stones are from an image I found of local (coastal Maine) shoreline

The Woodsy image is one I tool out somewhere in the middle of the woods. I used to have a matching winter shot, with about ten inches of virgin snow, but I lost the photograph :(

Plasma theme is 'jimmy'
