Using crouton -
with a list switch giving available (-t) type choices and desktops choices . . .

I've got Kubuntu 14.04 on an Acer Chromebook 11 (Intel - Bay Trail/Silvermont) but only in the chrome shell.
Not the real deal yet . . . until I get the low power Bay Trail to allow me a bios(smbios) to get a true dual-boot to a Fedora and/or Centos7 KDE.

So, a write-protect screw on the motherboard is my afternoon here . . .

I have Kali Linux on in KDE Environment on a Samsung Ultrabook 5, but thats like almost 2 separate animals. I tried Kubuntu once when I was going down the list of open source goodies off linuxdistro.org. Didn't have any unique features that kept me interested for more than a day. Might have missed something though.... xD
