If I run krunner by pressing Alt-F2 everything works fine.

However, I have assigned Alt-F2 to a mouse gesture with easystroke
and when I do that gesture, krunner is launched but does not get focus.

Any ideas?

easystroke seems to require input on some (the desktop?) window what will likely "pollute" the usertime stamp thus trigger focus stealing prevention.

run "kcmshell4 kwinrules", create a new rule, "detect" the krunner window and in "appearance & fixes" set the focus stealing prevention to "none"

That's what I call an answer ! ;D

I am doing sth. wrong, however, since it does not affect krunner's behaviour

No idea what you clicked there, but the class for krunner is "krunner" and you rather don't want to match the title (might change too often) - also the window type is "Anclar (Panel)" NOT "Ventana normal" (at least here)

Ensure to have the window you want to use in sight and click precisely it after starting the detection - nowhere else

Test if the settings are applied, e.g. by selecting an "obvious" option: in the second tab (Size & Position), check "Desktop", "Apply Initially", "All Desktops". Press Alt+F2 and see if krunner is placed on all desktops.

This lets you know if your window matching rule is correct.
