Often, when I push a window to a new location on the desktop or off the edge of the desktop, it maximizes itself.
How can I turn this behavior off? |

Sounds like quick maximizing on screenedges (aka Aero Snap). To disable go to Systemsettings -> Workspace Behavior -> Screen Edges -> Disable "Maximize windows by dragging them to the top of the screen"

Thanks a lot. This solves the problem.
