Hi, I've just used dispcal to calibrate an additional external monitor, which connects to my laptop. I'm trying to work out how to activate the profile automatically.

Looking at System Settings > Hardware > Color (hey it's misspelt! :o), I can only see my laptop's embedded display listed under devices. Is there a way to add the external monitor as well, rather than writing a udev rule + dispwin?

Does the external display appear in the output of "xrandr"?

Is your system using colord or Oraynos for colour management?

I'm not sure what Oraynos is, but colord and colord-kde are installed.

Okay, I would suggest consulting the colord documentation to see if there is a way to determine if it is aware of the external display.
