Hello,
I recently switched to KDE and I am quite happy about it :)
Whoever, from time to time I get stuck at achieving functionality that I used to have on my last WM, like now:

I want the following to happen:

- A window is open (eg. Konsole)
-> I press META+ArrowLeft
-> Konsole will be "snapped" to the left side (meaning it gets resized to x50%, y100% and get aligned left.

- I press META+ArrowRight
-> Same, but align right instead of left

- I press META+ArrowUP
-> Maximize the window

- I press META+ArrowDown
> Minimize the window

Can I achieve this behavior using only the standart kde-package from jessie? Or do I need additional software? Thanks for helping me out :-)

Depends on how up to date the packages are in jessy. In wheezy it would work ;-) Systemsettings -> Shortcuts and Gestures -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> KDE Component: KWin

and configure the shortcuts as you wish.
