Hello,
I'd like to tile my windows using Ctrl+Meta+ArrowsKeys. It can be adjusted in System Settings -> Shortcuts and Gestures -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> KDE component: KWin. Now, my problem is, that I can't assign more than one arrow for an action. I'd like to tile to the left on hitting Ctrl+Meta+Left and tile to the bottom-left on hitting Ctrl+Meta+Down+Left. Is there any way this can be accomplished? By hitting the Down-Arrow before hitting Left this command would at least be unambiguous. In addition, I'd like to assign maximizing a window on hitting Ctrl+Meta+Up+Down. And another thing: When I hit a button to change the tiling of a window, it is first restored to normal and not tiled until I press the shortcut again. Can I stop KWin from doing so? That is, make KWin tile to the position immediately on hitting the shortcut button. Thanks for you help in advance, doublerainbow64 |

While QKeySequence supports emacs style shortcuts, it seems KShortcut was never adatpted to that feature addition.
The KWin behavior seems like a bug, filed: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329136 |
