KWin shortcuts in MATE

Wed Jan 22, 2014 12:19 pm
Hello, I'm running Mint 14 Mate and recently I found out that I can replace buggy Compiz with nicely working KWin. Compiz was very buggy for me when used in dual monitor setup but KWin works great and I really like it. The only thing is, that I need to setup shortcuts to snap window left/right.
In KDE, it is done in System Settings > Shortcuts and Gestures > Global Keyboard Shortcuts, but I have a MATE desktop... I tried to install systemsettings package but menu Global Keyboard Shortcuts is missing. What package do I need to install to enable Global Keyboard Shortcuts?
Are there any other ways to assign shortcuts for KWin snap?
Thank you.

Thank you very much, that did the trick! kde-workspace basically installed "whole" KDE - 174 MB and it is kinda brutal solution :D but it works.
