Aurorae: Broken center for maximized window

Recently my office Linux was updated from openSuse 12.3 (KDE SC 4.10.5) to openSuse 13.1 (KDE SC 4.11.2).
I am using my Aurorae theme Re-Tabstrip but it is broken for maximized windows. The SVG image for the center element is not expanded to the full size. If the window is not maximized but almost the same size, it looks good.
If the description is not clear, I can make and attach a screen-shot on Monday.

I wanted to ask:
    * Is this a known (and fixed?) bug?
    * Is it openSuse specific or has someone else the same problem?
    * Should I update Re-Tabstrip? If yes, how?

Right bug

That is the right bug, thanks. I wasn't able to find it myself, donno why.
Are there any plans to fix it in the near future?

Do you get this with any theme but air-oxygen?
I checked the qurorae qml part and it looks fine (afaiu this declarative stuff), then experimented on the decoration (altered colors and set decoration-maximized-center -> decoration-maximized-top -> decoration-maximized-center) in inkscape and now it works as expected.

-> could be some garbled svgz?

Yes, with my Re-Tabstrip decoration. I'll create a new SVG as you did and we'll see whether it helps. Thanks for the hint.

Sorry, please don't feel offended - I just stopped reading when I knew "seen this bug" ;-)
I installed your deco, can confirm the problem, updated it* -> problem gone.

*renamed decoration-maximized-*-center decoration-maximized-*top in both fields, saved, restarted kwin, got the inactive variant on active and inactive windows, named back decoration-maximized-*-top to decoration-maximized-*-center, saved, restarted kwin.

Worked only partially

Sorry for the long pause with my answer. Your proposal did not work and I had to update my private computer to a more recent version to properly test it. Now it works with my private computer but not with my other machine. The complete list:
openSuse 12.3, KDE 4.10 => no problems
openSuse 13.2 milestone0, KDE 4.12 => works with your proposal
opensuse 13.1, KDE 4.11 => problem occurs with and without your proposal.

Does this help? I guess nobody will try to find the problem in KDE 4.11 anymore.

Do they also have different Qt versions? (it's apparently some svg data incompatibility)

Probably not:
openSuse 12.3,: libqt4 4.8.4
opensuse 13.1: libqt4 4.8.5
openSuse 13.2 milestone0: libqt4 4.8.5
The difference is just the build number between the latter two.

Is it worth to link from Bug 331461 to this thread? Or can I do something else?

Yupp, good idea. Let's see whether Christian can confirm this.

I've updated the bug report with my (very long) test report. This is a really weird bug. It doesn't seem that the problem is actually with the svgz file, because moving a supposedly fixed svgz file to a different theme results in the bug showing up again.
