Unfortunately I cannot force the crash anymore. "Unfortunately" because I didn't change anything. Maybe its because I have wifi now (and fixed an issue with conflicting services). When I run my notebook next week without network I'll check it again. Thanks for the suggestions so far, luebking.
Edit: Nope, it crashes again (after closing FF) with segfault in KWin thread 1, nothing interesting. I will try the suggestions. |

I don't have aurorae anywhere in my configuration. All options are set to Breeze. kcmshell5 kwindecoration offers Breeze, Oxygen, and Plastik.
Empty output.
With OpenGL 2.0 (which was set in the dialog) I get this output. When I change the setting to OpenGL 3.1 it says "OpenGL version: 3.3" (shading language changes from 1.30 to 3.30). I will try this setting. |

"breeze" is in fact just an aurorae theme (in this version, a native theme is in development)

Seems to work with Oxygen decoration, no crash so far. Can I help in any way by debugging the "trouble"?

not really. Problems with Aurorae themes are mentioned in the Errata and are the reason why we don't have any screenshots with Breeze window decoration in the release announcement. |

That's a pitty. When it works it's beautiful (even when my screen feels much smaller). So I'm looking forward the 5.2 release .

In my case, there was no library libQt5Core5.
After its installation, it worked. <openSuSE Leap 42.1> |
