For the last couple of months, I have had a problem with my wallpaper and my desktop display of the folder disappearing. I am only getting the deafult Fedora Core background. I reset them using the Systems Settings dialog, but they disappear again.

I am running Fedora Core 20, KDE 4.14.3, all current patches.

Where to look?

Activitiy related or plasma-desktop fails to write settings.
