hi friends!

I tried to type ctrl+shift+F12 to disable my desktop effects on KDE plasma 5 (kubuntu 15.10) but after I restart my computer the effects still working.
how can I disable the desktop effects permanently?

I don't know what is happening but when it is on and I close a window some black lines appears for a second... so to avoid it I turn the effects off.

thank you friends.

"kcmsmshell5 kwincompositing"

SHIFT+Alt+F12 *suspends* the compositor, it's not meant as a permanent toggle.

Are the "black lines" remainders of the windows shadow?

thank you.

Oh, I think so, it is horizontal black lines that appears when I close some window and the desktop effects are ON.
I will try to disable the windows shadow on settings.

You cannot disable shadows by some setting.

Can you make a screenshot of those lines?
