Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my multiple monitor setup. One of the monitors, the secondary one, is rotated by 90 degrees. The system settings display module sees it correctly, but desktop placement seems to be misdetecting the screen's edges. Here is an example: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxUgV46PCK6LMkZBUUUtekRDR2c. Creating a default panel will ignore the bottom portion of the rotated screen and place it as shown in the picture. I can move windows to the black portion of the screen, but the panel stays on top of them. Setting the orientation of the monitor to normal from system settings fixes everything, but then I cannot use the monitor, as it is rotated. Moving the the secondary display relative to the primary within system settings does not seem to have any effect. The problem used to occur about 50% of the time with plasma 5.5, but I got a new main monitor and a new graphics card to go with it and updated to the latest version of everything available from Tumbleweed, and the problem appears all the time. Previously, logging out and in again would fix it, but that does not seem to work anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions before I file a bug for this? |
