I've updated to KDE 5.8.2 and I would like to enable modifier only shortcuts.

I've added the following section to ~/.config/kwinrc

Code: Select all
[ModifierOnlyShortuts]
Alt=
Control=
Meta=org.kde.krunner,/App,,display
Shift=org.kde.plasmashell,/PlasmaShell,org.kde.PlasmaShell,activateLauncherMenu

but hitting the Windows key (Meta) doesn't show KRunner.

Extra info:
- The global shortcut for KRunner is set to default, i.e., Global: Alt+Space, Global Alternate: Alt+F2 but I guess this is irrelevant.
- ksuperkey is disable

Any hint on how to make this work?

maybe because you misspelled "ModifierOnlyShortuts" (/s/tuts/cuts/)

:-) I'm so used to deal with complicated KScreen bugs that sometimes I forget to keep in mind the Occam's razor principle.

Thanks for spending your time replying to this.
