Hi everyone!
Since plasma 5.8, I started to use wayland from time to time. Aside from some small issues, It was okay. I recently upgraded my plasma installation to 5.9 (from the arch repos) and now wayland is completely unusable! Panels are too transparent, I can raise and focus both the panel and the wallpaper as if they were normal window (the even are in the task manager!), I got no window decoration for all wayland windows, all window are positioned to the next starting from the top left corner, even menus and krunner... what's going on? Anybody got the same issue? I'm on a intel sandy bridge laptop. X11 is completely fine. |

Here's a screenshot I picked:
It seems I got a lot lot of crashes too. Whenever I try to get to compositor settings and desktop effect settings, config instantly crashes. When I try to open an image in dolphin makes it crash too. Again, everything is fine in X11. |

Wayland does not work with qt-5.8, which is default on Arch for example, and if you need to use plasma-wayland, you can use KDE Neon because they are using qt-5.7.1 and wayland works good.

Thanks. I didn't know Qt 5.8 changed that. I really hope they fix the bug soon.
