Hi everyone,

I try to get the virtual keyboard running under a plasma wayland session. After starting the plasma wayland session, the virtual keyboard switch in the system tray is showing up. I can enable and disable it, but the keyboard isn't showing up. I tried different applications like chrome, firefox, kate and dolphin in none of them the virtual keyboard is showing up. Any hint where i can start debugging? I am working on a Lenovo Helix Notebook with a detachable keyboard.

My current system is:
OS: Gentoo OS
Kwin: 5.9.0
QT: 5.7.1
qtvirtualkeyboard is installed

I lunched a regular application with the virtual keyboard as input module and the keyboard showed up.
$ QT_IM_MODULE=qtvirtualkeyboard kate

It looks like the module is available and working.
