Hi, first time posting here. I was wondering will continues support of alternative window manager? Did the dev said anything about it?
Will switch from X11 to wayland the end of alternate window manager? I switched from kde to i3 a while back, but I start to miss kde, so I am trying to integrate them but not sure about long term support. Thanks!! |

Have you used AquaSnap or FireTray? They have a lot of advantages

for wayland you may be interested in sway
http://swaywm.org/ [quote]Sway is a drop-in replacement for the i3 window manager, but for Wayland instead of X11. It works with your existing i3 configuration and supports most of i3's features, and a few extras I can not personally see how someone can get used to sway or i3 tiling manager and pine for KDE which is huge. they are virtually at opposite ends of the GUI experience. Or am I am missing something maybe you miss GUI? |
