Not sure when it happened because I use it sporadically but today I wanted to snap windows to opposite corners of the screen and tile them in half and… nothing. Then it turned out that tiling stopped working entirely, so windows are not snapping to quarter of screen, even not maximizing when putting title bar to the upper edge.
I checked on my clean, test user account and tiling works as it should, so some configs are messed up on my normal user side. Not sure which one. In settings in desktop behavior->screen edges. I see there Window Management section and I do have marked “window takes all screen when dragging to upper edge”, “window takes half of the screen when dragging to side edge” and “window takes quarter of screen when dragging it to inner corners 25%”. So all seems fine with settings and they should work and yet, they don’t. So either config that is responsible for it is somehow corrupt (other settings are applied correctly thou) or something else is messing with it. I even click “set default” and it didn’t help. Does anyone have an idea where to look to fix it? |
