Hi,

i came up with an issue within Krita and its tool dialogue to make some layer adjustments.
when this window pops up, the main window gets grayed out because it is blocked for user interactions.
But in this particular case I need it to be in the real colour because this is exactly the thing I want to adjust. 8-)

Is there a way to disable this dimming effect in KWin?

this is what my colours are looking like

and this is when when I open the Adjustment dialogue

You might check in System Settings -> Desktop Effects -> All Effects. I believe the Dialog Parent effect may be the one you want to disable.

Thank you very much.

Unchecking "System settings >Desktop Behavior > Desktop Effects > Focus > Dialog Parent" did the job
