Windows has had the "snap to" mouse pointer functionality for awhile now, but it doesn't seem to exist much in the linux world so far as I can tell.
Essentially, this feature reduces the amount one needs to move the mouse by simply automatically moving the mouse cursor to the active button in a newly opened dialog window.

To be clear, I'm not referring to any sort of windows snapping; just the mouse pointer, itself, moving to the newest dialog box / window that opens.

I was hoping KDE's exceptional ability to configure and customize it would have this baked in, but Bodhi Linux is about the only mention of it I've run across...but I really would like to stick with KDE Neon.

So, does anyone know if this is implemented already, and if not what I can do to gain this functionality?

I know Enlightenment has this (which Bodhi's current desktop is based on), and I believe I've seen it on a few other window managers, but I haven't seen such an option (built-in) in Kwin.

You could try setting up a Kwin Script to do it.
