Hi,

When closing a user application that takes a while to shutdown a window comes up asking to “Terminate Application” or “Wait Longer”. The program asking this appears to be kwin_killer_helper.

The issue is when the user hits “Wait Longer” when the user app finally exits it core dumps. We have only been able to produce the core dump when “Wait Longer” is pressed. If Neither choice is pressed the User app finally exits without a problem.

What does “Wait Longer” do ? I expect it should do nothing but it appears to be related to the crashing of the app.
