Hello! I bought a new laptop with touch screen and I'd like to try wayland but can't switch. My OS is Kubuntu 18.04, KDE plasma version 5.12.7. I've installed packages: kwin-wayland, weston. I can't install plasma-wayland-session package. I can't find it (even I add deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-security main universe repository. Default display manager is sddm. I have two options on DM screen: KDE and Weston (wayland). So how I can try wayland?
Can I set autorotation of display when I rotate my laptop. Can a laptop switch to some tablet mode like in Windows? |
