Hi,
I use a convertible with a touchscreen and have made quite some progress in making kde touch-friendly. The swipe-gestures are really helpful here. I use swipe from left to show the application-grid, Up-> Down to show the desktop, right-> left to switch between apps (alt-tab). Down-> up I'd like to start "Onboard" virtual keyboard. But there is no option to start a specific application with a touch gesture. Are there tricks to achieve this? Regards, Andreas |

You can try setting such gestures through System Settings -> Shortcuts -> Custom Shortcuts. There you should be able to define "Mouse Gestures" (which you can use for both touch and mouse) and map those to various commands.
