How do I disable the window ghosts you see in the corners after you show the desktop?

For ghost windows you mean this effect?

This effect when you minimize windows for example when hot corner is actived, is given by kwin compositor.
You can change this effect in System Settings -> Desktop Effects -> scroll down to "show desktop animation ->" select "eye On Screen".
