I'm used to create a "retina" resolution using GNOME (my display is 2k and I use the 4k resolution scaled to 2K), but I really prefer KDE over it. I was unable to make xrandr work properly using NVIDIA 1060 or Intel 630 when I run the xrandr command it works but the KDE interface only runs minimized in 25% or a little more of the screen and 75% is black (probably this is the issue that some people call "mouse trapping").
The command that I use at GNOME is: xrandr --output connected_display --panning 3840x2160 --scale 1.5x1.5 and it works perfectly. I also tried to use the --fb option but the issue persists. https://forum.manjaro.org/uploads/default/original/3X/5/1/51c652e5f664aece653f04bf6654003b09ddad4b.png (Tried Ubuntu, Arch and Debian distros with latest KDE) ~ >>> mhwd -li
