Whenever I edit kwinrc and change BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false to BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true and move this line to top under [Windows], I run
But when I restart my PC, borders show for maximized apps. I see kwinrc only to find out that it's back to how it was before I edited it. Meaning that BorderlessMaximizedWindows is false instead of true and is in line 5 instead of 1. What causes it to revert to its default settings and what's the correct way to permanently change kwinrc settings? |

which is a completely different site, not on this forum, so why remove it here?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
