Hi all!

first post :)

I'm looking for a solution to following problem:
I want to open an application on desktop x. So I jump to desktop x and launch the application. While the application is launching I switch back to desktop y to continue working. I expect the application to now launch on desktop x as intended, but what happens is the application launching on desktop y - the current workspace.

Can I somehow change this behavior? It messes up my work spaces permanently. I can't wait every time for the application to launch. :z
My vague idea on how to fix this is by customizing the desktop file, since the problem bugs me the most for a specific, work related application, which needs a minute or so to launch. So an application specific solution would already be a valid option. Launching the application always on a predefined desktop is not an option since I run multiple instances and want them to be on their own workspace.

Thanks for your time - highly appreciate it. If you have some kind of idea please let me know.
