Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 with KDE as desktop environment on a laptop used with an external monitor. the laptop has a 14 inch 1080p display and the external monitor is 24 inch 1080p. I installed wayland to allow separate fractional scaling. i use fractional scaling on the laptop display. My problem is that Wayland seems to reduce de resolution of the images displayed on the screen instead of scaling up the icons, font,windows,etc... Can i use Wayland's fractional scaling without affecting the resolution? if no, is there an alternative to Wayland that can do so? Thanks for trying to help. have a great day. |
