I have an extra monitor, typically extenden to the left. My laptop monitor is the primary screen, and "active screen" is set to follow mouse.
But when I open a new window/app, it is ALWAYS placed on the external monitor. Likewise, when the external monitor is added, ALL windows are moved there. I do NOT like that. I would like that I could decide to move windows, and where they are initially placed. Question: Is there a way to achieve that, or need I file a wishlist request? |

Do you have any Window Behavior set that could cause this?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I believe not. The behavior appears to be quite random - sometimes it works, sometimes not. Apps are allowed to decide where windows are placed, as per default settings. Maybe that is teh problem or part of it? |
