I'm aware of Krohnkite and various other tiling scripts. I'd rather have something more official if I can.

Is there such a KDE extension?

Is it something that might become a feature in the future? Maybe it needs to be requested?

Instead of a tiling extension, I use the existing tiling shortcuts (Meta + <- etc.) and custom shortcuts to wmctrl commands. I can tile active windows, one by one. I'm satisfied by that for now.
