Hi, recently i have got a bug where the window manager simply cannot maximize the Windows. I mean this: https://imgur.com/a/i16O8Mx
I use Arch with i3, XFCE, and KDE. KDE Version is 5.23.3, frameworks version 5.87.0, Qt version 5.15.2. I get this in both Wayland and XFCE. |

I think there is a misunderstanding here:
if you are using KDE applications under another Desktop Manager than Plasma, KWin is not used, but the Window Manager of the other desktop. Please check the settings of the Window Manager in XFCE
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

The screenshot is from KDE. XFWM is working fine. And i did check anyways by using wmctrl -m, which says:

From the looks of that screenshot it looks like you're using kwin ( kwin --replace) on a xfdesktop? If that's the case, as far as maximizing a window with a shortcut goes, it won't work. You'll need the kwin shortcut for that. If you mean that the window doesn't maximize when you hit the maximize button....no idea I'm afraid.
This realm's name is Maya. And she speaks Hertz. But Ahamkara makes a fuzz about it.
