Hello everyone,

Having a strange issue here today. I'm running arch, and prior to today I was using the latest linux kernel. I decided that I'd rather have the LTS kernel for some stability since this is my desktop workhorse PC- I don't want a kernel update breaking something I need. Problem is, in the process of updating and rebooting several times, I seem to have broken my window decoration icons.





As you can see, they are absolutely massive. Those three buttons should not be equal in size to a single firefox tab; they should be maybe half the size. I've checked the settings, Appearance > Window Decorations > Layan (my theme) and the button size is set to "Normal". Even when I set it to "Tiny" they're still huge. What I find interesting however is that the Breeze theme does not suffer from the same problem, but other installed themes such as Sweet or Ant-Dark do.

I've tried google. But the only posts I can find are way outdated and/or don't work.

What happened? How can I fix this? (and does this question belong in the KWin section?)

So to sum up this only happens on third-party themes? You need to report this to the theme authors on store.kde.org, then, we have no influence over this.

Reinstall the aurorae theme and kvantum manager. See what gives.
