The tiling script https://github.com/esjeon/krohnkite recently stopped working well on my PC at home (OpenSuSE Leap). Instead of tiling windows immediately as they are opened, which was the normal behavior, they open over each other and I have to switch virtual desktops (e.g., from 1 to 2 and back) for the tiling to occur. Because the script still works fine on my PC at work (Ubuntu), I don't think that the problem is the script itself but rather some configuration of KWin or a recent update.

How can I find out what the problem is?
