when the root window has input focus and receives a keyboard event, it pops up krunner and directs the event (and future keyboard events) to it. that's a great convenience feature. but if i have a maximized app and make it exit, thus exposing the root window, the root window does *not* have input focus immediately. i have to click on it to give it input focus. is that on purpose? a necessary limitation of some kind? i realize this behavior will depend on the 'window activation behavior' setting for kwin. my setting is 'focus under mouse' (not 'focus strictly under mouse'). thoughts/comments?
