Well, in version KDE Frameworks 5.78.0 compiled alongside QT 5.15.2, it seems the following very kewl desktop window switching methods are back:

Desktop Cylinder
Desktop Cube
Desktop Sphere

Each is located in the same place...Window Effects & Window Management ....actually Desktop Cube is shown and going to the options to the right of the window after the 'movie' logo will open the selection dialog for all three.
