Whenever I unplug the laptop, powerdevil disables the KWin effects. However, when I plug it back in, the effects don't get reenabled and I have to go to systemsettings to fix it...

Is there a way to make it reenable them?

It works for me fine here. Make sure the profile you use for "Plugged in" has the "Disable Kwin composition.." unchecked. (System Settings -> Advanced -> Power Management -> Edit Profiles"

Hmm... tried it now and it worked. Maybe it doesn't work when I shut down on battery and then start up plugged in? I'll have to see.

Yep, I was right. They don't get reenabled if I log out on battery and then start up on AC. Time to file another bug report...

When you do that, please post a link to the bug report here. Thanks in advance.
