Hello everybody! :-)

I'm trying to test a bug in Kickoff probably related to the Window Managers (I can reproduce it with OpenBox, but not with Metacity and KWin) for subsequent bug reporting. I wanted to test the behavior of Kickoff without an active WM but I don't know how to prevent it reloading after you kill it. Can anybody give me a hint? Thanks.

Oh, and by the way I'm using KDE 4.2.0 on Fedora 10 from kde-testing repo.

Run `kwin --replace` in a terminal then press Ctrl+C.

Thank you! And for the sake of completeness also:
Code: Select all
kquitapp kwin

seems to work just fine.
