Dbus access to KWin - Move windows

Thu Apr 16, 2009 12:14 pm
Hi all, I'm fairly new to KDE, and was looking at the available methods callable via dbus.
I'm wondering if there's a way to move and resize window by shortcuts _directly_. I mean something like Ctrl+Alt+Right => Move window right, not Alt+f7 then move by arrows then enter to confirm...

I have been for a long time an xfce user very, VERY, addicted to that action, which it will not be supported anymore, so I'm trying to reach the same result in some way. (wmctrl is not an option).

So I'm trying to have it working in some other wm. Any hint?

Any idea is welcome!
